Drawing inspiration from and honouring the many people of our nation (including family members) who fought in wars that weren’t their own, who were injured, who became prisoners of war, who lost their lives, and who sacrificed their lives for us.

Juxtaposed by the hand-knitted woollen pockets that represent life at home during war time. Likewise, the jacket includes an embroidered velcro name tag featuring: 𝘬𝘩𝘶𝘣𝘢 (love), being an attribute necessary to cope with times of war and hardship.
