The silk scarf itself can also be worn as a gorgeous accessory; as a neck tie, bandana, head scarf, hair tie, around a belt loop or bag, or any other way you can pull it off. The beautiful game cherished by our people that can now be both played and worn.
This piece takes inspiration from a backgammon board gifted to us from the early 20th Century that belonged to our great grand uncle, Qasha Yosep (Fr. Joseph). It features a distinct border graphic depicting the might of King Shalmaneser III (reigned 858-824 BC), and the flowers on the pieces themselves are taken from distinct artwork seen on the Babylonian Ishtar Gate.
